Do I pay more for a second or third pet?
We believe that a family is a family, no matter how big or small. We never charge extra for additional pets. Clients with multiple pets normally book a longer visit so that we have ample time to perfectly care for the entire furry family.
What do I do next? How do I book my In-home consult?
Simply click the "Book Now" button in the upper right-hand corner. We'll come out to your home to assess the needs of you and your pets, answer all of your questions, and gather comprehensive care instructions for ongoing care. This meeting time is scheduled when completing the New Client Reservation Form.
How do you make sure that my keys are kept safe?
Each of our clients lease from us a (fully refundable) realtor-grade lockbox, and keys are secured on-site. This means that all keys to stay in your possession at all times, and it also allows us to be available even in case of emergency. You'll choose your own PIN for the lockbox. This PIN is always kept secure and is never published in your pet's care instructions. Alternatively, if you live in an apartment, keys can be picked up/dropped on with the doorman.
Can you include my dog in a group walk?
Our dog walking services are one-on-one with a single walker, allowing for our complete, undivided attention of your dog only. We'll happily walk multiple dogs within the same household together.
Do I get to meet my walker/sitter in advance?
Your in-home consult will take place with a company owner or manager. This guarantees that we collect & document all care instructions properly, and that you can rely on the professional & comprehensive systems of an entire company (instead of just a single person). We fully understand if you'd also like to meet an actual walker/sitter who's scheduled for your upcoming service: in these cases, in order to fairly compensate the staff member for their time, we'd simply schedule a regular visit for a time that you'll be home.
How far in advance do I need to book or cancel dog walking services?
For regular pricing, please submit dog walk bookings via our App at least 2 days in advance (for example, by Monday at midnight for a Wednesday walk). For free cancellations, we ask for the same 2-days' advance notice (cancel a Friday walk by the preceding Wednesday night at midnight). For vacation care, regular pricing and free cancellations extend to 3-days' advance notice for bookings & 7 days for cancellations.
Is there an additional charge on holidays?
In order to fairly compensate our staff for taking time away from their families on the holidays, these additional rates apply on all major holidays: For dog walking & vacation care services, add $8.00 per visit. For sleepover services (made available to our ongoing dogs walking clients), add $35.00 per night.
